Q: Will this kill algae
5 days ago- A: Howdy neighbor! While FarmWorks Aquatic Herbicide is excellent for clearing out tough shoreline weeds, it will not kill pond algae because its active ingredient only targets vascular plants.3 days agoHelpful?
Q: How long to set before a rain
8 days ago- A: Thank you for your question. Per the vendor, "Rain doesn't matter but the temperature does. The faster the targeted weeds are growing the more effective the herbicide is. So in cooler weather it takes longer to work than in warm weather."4 days agoHelpful?
Q: How big of an area will one gallon treat
8 days ago- AI-generatedA: One gallon of this herbicide is designed to treat a maximum pond size of 1 acre. For effective results, reviewers suggest mixing it at a rate of 1 to 5 ounces per gallon of water, depending on the target vegetation.4 days agoHelpful?
Q: Do I need to add a surfactant if spraying lily pads?
a month ago- AI-generatedA: No, you can use this product without adding a surfactant. However, some reviewers suggest using one for the best results when treating lily pads, and others have noted using a small amount of dish soap as a surfactant alternative.a month agoHelpful?
Q: Will this product kill curly leaf?
2 months ago- A: Howdy neighbor! While FarmWorks Aquatic Herbicide is great for plants above the water like cattails, it won't work on curly leaf pondweed because that weed grows entirely underwater. To clear up curly leaf, you’ll need a specialized submerged treatment like Diquat or Endothall that can reach the plants beneath the surface.2 months agoHelpful?
Q: Is this safe for livestock
2 months ago- A: Howdy neighbor! FarmWorks Aquatic Herbicide is generally safe for livestock when used as directed, but you must follow specific label instructions to prevent ingestion of the concentrated product or freshly sprayed vegetation. Because the active ingredient is 53.8% Glyphosate, it is considered practically non-toxic to mammals and birds, but it can cause temporary digestive upset if animals consume it before it has dried or dispersed.2 months agoHelpful?
Q: Does this affect fish?
3 months ago- AI-assistedA: This product is slightly toxic to fish and aquatic invertebrates. Additionally, treating aquatic weeds can cause oxygen depletion as dead plants decompose, potentially suffocating fish.3 months agoHelpful?
Q: Will this kill Zizaniopsis miliacea in water
7 months ago- A: Hello, thank you for your question. Yes, glyphosate can kill Zizaniopsis miliacea if the plants have emergent foliage above water and are actively growing. It may not be effective on fully submerged plants. Some re-treatment may be needed for regrowth from rhizomes.7 months agoHelpful?
Q: Will this kill black willows and what is best method to apply and when?
8 months ago- A: Yes, the FarmWorks Aquatic Herbicide Pond Treatment, which contains 53.8% Glyphosate (with an aquatic-labeled surfactant), can be an effective treatment for black willows. Glyphosate is a broad-spectrum, systemic herbicide that is effective against woody brush and trees when applied correctly.7 months agoHelpful?
Q: does farmworks aquatic herbicide require surfactant to kill cattails?
9 months ago- A: No. You can use it without adding surfactant.9 months agoHelpful?
