The FarmWorks Blue Pond Dye is a water-soluble dye designed for use in lakes, ponds, decorative water features and other impounded bodies of water with limited outflow. It beautifies murky, cloudy or off-colored water with a pleasing, natural blue tint. The dye disperses quickly and evenly; within hours, treated water may be used for swimming, fishing and irrigation.

- Pleasant blue tint

- Easy to apply; just pour around the edges water to be treated
- Concentrated, 1 gal. of colorant treats 1.25 million gal. of water; this bottle will treat over 3 million gal. of water
- Disperses quickly and evenly; within hours treated water may be used for swimming, fishing and irrigation
- When used at the recommended dosage rate, treated water will not stain exposed surfaces
- When used at the recommended dosage rate, treated water will not harm fish, waterfowl, pets or wildlife
- Allow several hours for this product to disperse before swimming, irrigation or fishing
- Do not apply this product directly to drinking water
- Use 0.25 gal. of this product for each acre-foot of water. (Note: 1 acre-ft. = 325,000 gal. = 1,234 cu. m); pour from the container near shoreline into water; complete, even dispersion of this product should occur within hours after treatment

- A: HOW TO USE: Proper dosage rate requires an accurate calculation of the water volume (acre-feet) in the treated area. To determine water volume, multiply the Length (ft) x Width (ft) x Average depth (ft) and then divide it by 43,560. This will give you the water volume in acre-feet. For volume in acre-feet: Length (ft) x Width(ft) x Average Depth (ft) / 43,560 Use .25 gallons (.95 L) of this product for each acre-foot of water as determined by your calculations. See label for calculations and rate in meters. Pour from the container near the shoreline. Complete dispersion of this product should occur within hours after treatment, depending on the volume and movement of water treated. Additional amounts of this product can be added as needed to maintain desired coloration following rainfall, dilution, or water exchange. Allow several hours for this product to disperse before swimming, irrigation, or fishing. I have used this in a 1 acre pond for two years and it works great. Color is nice and stays for about 30 days despite this pond having a constant flow through.

Very weak concentration

I Have a 5 acre pond on my property and this product failed to produce results. The Dye seemed very watered down..The viscosity was same as water making me believe its a lower percent of dye than they claim. Other products I have used that get the job done are thicker and have higher dye concentration. Also the price is really high
