Feed at a rate of one tub per 15 to 30 head. All animals should have equal access to tubs. Timid and smaller animals need their share. 2. Place tubs where animals congregate. Locate tubs throughout the pasture at loafing, grazing and watering areas. Adequate distance must be maintained between tubs to prevent crowding - 10 feet minimum. 3. Feed tubs continuously along with plentiful sources of forage and clean, fresh water. Animals should not run out of tubs. When a tub is two-thirds consumed, provide a new tub near it. 4. Cattle should consume 1 to 2 pounds per head daily based on a 1,000-pound animal. 5. Consumption of this tub may vary depending upon animal body condition, quality and quantity of forages, seasonal weather conditions, and most importantly, feeding locations of tubs with respect to loafing, grazing, feeding and watering areas. 6. If additional vitamin and mineral fortification is desired, provide an appropriate free choice mineral supplement in addition to this supplement.

i have used these for the last two years and my cattle eat them good. we have an atwoods that sells a 24%tub and my cows prefers the TSC tub-tried both of them at the same time to see which one they would go to brought two more tubs each and switched location and they moved over to the TSC tub. now if we could get tsc to sell a 20% natural instead of the 16% tub natural in oklahoma!!!!!

In May I purchased 4, 24% protein tub in New Mexico on my way back to Arizona. I bought these tubs mostly based on the reviews. These are the worst protein tubs I have ever had, 4 month and I don’t think my cows have licked them more than a couple of times.

My animals like the protein, but I like the SERVICE here! You will not find a better group of people than at the tractor supply on 59 Dickson Springs Highway Carthage, Tennessee! Craig and Stacey were most helpful. These tubs are huge and they put them on the back of the truck for me. I won’t go anywhere else.

Maybe your cattle are super hungry

I can’t get my cattle to even slide one tongue over the top of the tub. Trust me, I did take the lid off. The plan was to support the limited good feed and provide the ingredients to have them consume the dry grass matter. Not happening after 3 weeks in the small field
