- A: That is not available. The weight of a 5 gallon bucket dry sand is 65-70 pounds. You want to make sure you only fill the roller half full if using sand. Q: How many pounds of dry sand will it take to fill a 60 in half way

- A: There is not an exact number , You will need to slowly fill the sand in and watch as to where you have the sand at on the inside you may need to use a flash light to watch where you have the sand at as to inside the roller. Best to under fill then over fill. Thank you.2 years agoHelpful?

- A: A gallon of water weights 8.34 pounds. The roller weighs 137 pounds. a filled roller will weight 1150 pounds. If you are using sand you can only fill it 1/2 full due to the sand being heavier then water.2 years agoHelpful?

Basic construction is reasonable, but they definitely stopped there. There are no grease fittings or way to lube the shaft. Also the plugs for the fill ports are a huge pain. A threaded plug instead of a compession rubber plug would be much better.

Made to fail

Horrible design where the tow bars connect to the drum. Plastic bushings, really? Should have bearings and a beefy tow bar. Welds are horrible as well. Leaks. I guess this is good if you want to roll and water at the same time. Spring clips also shear, causing the cheap tow bars to bend when it pops off. Total waste of money.
No, I do not recommend this product.

arms bent on 3rd use

Used this 3x before the arms bent the 3rd time I only got 4 passes. The tubing they use is too thin for the weight. Might move it up to 3 stars if the company honors their warranty without hassle. Contacting them now.

Big roller poor design

Where do I begin. For 450$ ur essentially buying the cylinder because after 2 uses with full capacity filled with water (620# roughly) the framework ends up bending to point of needing replaced. The amount of water if filled right to the top with total maximum interior cubic foot of 9.85 cubic feet and with 1 cubic foot of water weighing roughly 62lbs would be total weight of 620. To achieve the 1200lbs I’d have to fill with at least wet mason sand (130lbs pcf) and at 1200 lbs ur ground better be as smooth as a golf course because that framework is not capable of withstanding any amount of movement your tractor would put on it as it was pulled.
