Poor quality control from AgKNX. I ordered the 6”, 9” and 12” of this type and only 1 was ready to go out of the box. They would not fit over the 2 inch stem, there were two reasons. The weld around the collar was not cleaned well enough, so there was metal splatter that stopped it from sliding in at all. Second, once the top weld was corrected, it would only slide in an inch, the holes that were drilled for the pins had very large burs on the inside that needed to be ground down before they would slide on. If you don’t have a long thin die grinder that can fit in the center and reach the holes, you’re out of luck. Lastly, the outer collar on the 9” one is not centered, there is a 3-4mm difference in metal thickness from one side to the other, this is very odd! Look closely at the collar side wall thickness in the attached picture. These were a bit cheaper than the CountyLine ones that Tractor Supply had in stock and those did not have these problems. They were however stored outside and rusty, that is why I ordered the AgKNX set, save a few dollars and new in box instead of rusty. The CountyLine ones in stock might have been a better choice.
