NOT for Dairy Cows

I drove an hour to purchase these for our Jersey cow because online it says it's for beef and dairy cattle. The label on the product clearly says not to use it for "Animals producing milk for human consumption". The salesperson at TS told me that they still recommend it for dairy cows anyway. It also says on the label for "Non Lactating Dairy Cattle."

Sheep love it!

A great supplement at a reasonable price! I like that my sheep and Highlanders can be mixed in one pen and it's safe for both. Plus, if if the horses end up in there briefly it isn't going to kill them.

Protein tubs help with lambing.

These tubs work well for me when I need to get my sheep a bit of extra protein and sugar. I use them in the summer when sheep are on dry feed or in the lead up to lambing. What I have noticed is that my wool ewes eat them voraciously, while my dorpers just nibble at them but as they get closer to lambing consumption goes up. Also, when I feed grain I think I am getting more stuck lambs - I probably won't test this theory further because I like the convenience of the tubs (ie not having to feed daily) and my lambs look good.
