Worked For Me

I purchased this model from TSC several years ago and used it to build a fence for my horses. The pasture is roughly ten acres with cross fencing, paddocks, etc. I have had no trouble with this unit. I must take the fence down and move it because the land the pasture is on has been sold. I want to rewind and reuse the existing 12ga wire but can't find a suitable accessory for this jenny. Consequently, I must by a new jenny that accommodates a rewinding drum from another supplier.

Must have updated the design

Used one for years. Just bought a new one because I loaned out the old one. Tip: put down a 2x2 piece of plywood. Drill a 1 inch hole in the middle. Stick the stake in the hole. Arms never get caught. If you are pulling hard enough to bend the arms you are doing something wrong. #besmarterthanwhatyouareworkingwith

Total garbage. Construction is way too light, first time I used it one of the arms caught, unit bent. It's now unusable, and my spool of wire is a tangled mess.

There are better for less $

Angle iron arms twist easily under the strain and weight of a full spool of wire. Better designs for less are square tube stock and much more durable. TSC can do better.
