It fits 12-1/2 to 16 gauge wire. Crimping tool required, crimp twice for a secure connection. Note: Do not use as a wire splice.

Fantastic wire connection

This really simplifies adding new wire to existing wire. I used it to connect two strands of wire so that my fence had alternating hot wire. Was able to use it connecting the existing hotwire to my new pasture fence. Really secure connection!
