Failed multiple times

I bought quite a few of these for a multi strand fence using 17 gauge steel wire. Most have broken (at least 5).
Deer ran into the fence, and one of the tensioners slipped, loosening up my wire. Some others broke on the nut on the opposite side of the adjusters, which may be due to freezing temperatures and water inside the nut freezing and expanding.
These are very easy to use and very inexpensive, but I would not recommend them if you have large animals or dumb deer.
These were only installed about six months ago. I’m replacing them today with steel ratchet tensioners.

Poor quality

I wish I could write a better review, but the tensioner are made from a poor quality plastic that degrades much more rapidly than other products. They break down in just under a year...
