The Zareba Gritted Crimping Sleeve 4-5 provides superior wire-gripping for strong splices. Quickly splice wire, in-line strainers or loops at end posts. Use three sleeves per splice for wire, two sleeves for end post loops and in-liner strainer attachment. Use with 12.5 TO 13.5 gauge wire. Crimping tool is required. 25 sleeves per pack.

Strong enough for my grapevine trellis

I bought these for my # 9 gauge wire to build my grapevine trellis. I didn't crimp but bent the wire end, and used only one sleeve per end. They seem to be strong enough for my climbing vines. Facilitated my job and my trellis looks professional. I have 7 grapevines by each of my windows so I'll be buying more since I used 14 sleeves on my first trellis.
