Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tremendous gate to keep the dogs in. Excellent finish and hardware. Would be good to have a sliding bolt kit available that would fit gate frame and allow one hand operation to open and close. It worked to keep my dogs in the yard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent gate! Excellent product, I purchased this to match one that I had already installed- really well made, love the powder coat finish! Easy to install!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Gate near Great We have a couple of these gates around our property. They are pretty good. If the metal was a couple of mil thicker it would be great. If you are going to use an auto opener or motorized anything on this gate or any of the larger ones you may want something else. The metal bends quickly with pressure from openers. If you are going to use it as a simple walk through it will do well.

The opening of my horse stall is 4' 1/4".  Does this 4' gate measurement include the hinge?

Asked by: Squidink
The opening of the stall itself it 3' 8". With the hinge included it makes it 4' total. This would be a tight fit to include the 4' gate in the horse stall.

Can it be installed a chain link pipe ... or another metal pipe? I know that the gate hardware is for a 4 x 4 ft lumber; but, is it possible to install it on a chain link pipe, with a different type of hardware?

Asked by: DogMomsRock
We do offer a 5/8” x 13” Threaded Pin. Not sure if chain link pipe would be a sufficient post. It would be dependent upon size of post.

I want this gate to sit flush against the fence when fully open. Is that possible by modifying or using different hardware?

Asked by: Honeybell8
By placing the hinge pins on either side of the post, depending upon which way the gate will swing, should allow for this gate to swing farther back. Doing this will shorten the distance the gate will span. Moving the hinge pins back to the center of either side of the post will cause the span to be shorter. Also note that the gate hinges cannot be flush with the post that it is mounted on, due to allowing clearance to swing. Dependent upon which side of the post the gate is mounted on, and which side the fence is on, will need to be took into consideration also. The gate will only swing as far as the post and the ground will allow for clearance.

Several manufacturers make these gates for us and supply them to specific regions. Unfortunately, because of this, the colors available at your local store are all that the area can be supplied with.
