Q: Description says 2 cupcapacity and then further the down it says 8 ounce capacity… 1 cup = 8oz. WHICH IS IT???

  • A: Hi Mad feeder, Thanks for your question. This is what I received back from our vendor- Capacity should be 8 oz. It appears that the 2 cups was loaded incorrectly.

We have hanging feeders on front porch But wanted one for back deck and no where to hang- this is perfect solution outside kitchen window!

Hummingbirds can't reach nectar

This feeder does hold a cup of nectar; however, as the nectar level drops from their drinking, they can no longer reach the nectar even tho' the feeder is still half full. I watched yesterday as they tried repeatedly but could no longer get a drink. Sad.

Yes, the feeder is a little deep, so the hummingbirds may have trouble reaching once it's half full, however this just forces me to clean and refill it every few days, which is what you should do anyway to prevent mold from growing. I have several hummingbirds coming to this feeder every day! It's awesome to see them up close. The water tray does "sit" on the holder without being clamped down, but I think it feels secure. Have not had any issues with functionality.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Nice but pieces don’t latch to each other.

Nice. Only issue is the pieces don’t snap together and remain secured. One piece just sits in the other without a secure snap function. Doesn’t feel sturdy that way. In those same pieces there no lip that sits above the holes when you put the top on the suction cup base. The holes and the pieces that go in the holes are same height. It feels a little flimsy.

It's junk get the perky pet. Have this one on same window as the perky pet and they can't get to nectar in it. They go to the perky pet window feeder. This wild wings window feeder is going in the trash. Don't buy it.
