The new recipe for the Wildlife Block is terrible! Just before Christmas I purchased 2 blocks. One was for my son and the other was for my house. I noticed that what I know is the old recipe had peanuts in-shell as part of the mix and was larger and less compact than the new stock. When unloading my truck, I smelled an odor off a fermenting carcass (slight), and I checked in my bushes until I discovered it was the new recipe block! The block that I gave to my son was great and attracted much wildlife and was gone in a week. The new formula block that I put i my back yard attracted little and was barely touched. I notified my store (#1965) to offer feedback and they asked me to return it and submit a review. I'm also calling customer service. I also won't be buying another wildlife block until the recipe reverts back to the old one. VERY disappointed in Tractor Supply on this one. Also note that I will be happy to update my review when and IF the recipe is changed back to original.

First and last time buying this product. It is so compacted that I cannot break it apart with a hammer. Squirrels and birds unable to use.

The squirrels and the birds all enjoy this block. I have another one in the yard also but the animals gravitate to this one.

Our backyard critters loved it!
