- A: To enlarge the size chart, click the white circle with a square in it on the bottom right of the picture. This will pop out the size chart so that you can zoom in to read it. If using a desktop computer, you will want to use the + sign located on the left of the picture to enlarge it. - A: Per the manufacturer: This particular item number is a 32” dog coat. I’ve included our “measure guide” to show you how we measure for dog coats. If the dog measures 30” from the base of the neck to the start of the tail this coat will cover a bit of the tail and over the hip. A 30” coat might fit better. but we recommend measuring to be certain.6 years agoHelpful?

The measurement in inches corresponds to the dog coat size, which are sized in 2-inch increments. This brand makes well insulated coats that have a tough exterior. The fastening system is easy to use and quite solid. Daisy isn't going to wriggle out of this coat anytime soon.
All that said, there is one prime point that makes this coat useless in some applications. If you use a harness with your dog, this coat will not work. I am continually surprised by the majority of all dog coat makers in that they always assume that all dogs owners walk & control dogs via the collar. This is a changing market as pet owners become more educated in making their dogs happier and more comfortable. The front neck of a dog is a pretty sensitive and fragile area. An owner constantly yanking on the leash and collar, attempting to control his dog, will not only fail in this but he will also tick off the dog. Imagine your partner walking you around using a collar.
Coat manufacturers, wake up, observe and learn. Harnesses are in. Please be very aware of the population of SERVICE DOGS that are always on harnesses. This just might help you improve your business. And gain a bigger following.

I have a Bloodhound of 140 lbs. this coat fits him perfect. It’s easy on and easy off and it cleans up very nicely. Keeps him dry thru rain and snow. We love it.
