Great Hand Held Winch

Use it to move my lake dock walkway up/down the roll down ramp when the water level changes.  What used to be a huge pain the butt is now an easy 10 minute job.

Powerfull easy to use tool

This winch is amazing! I bought it to pull out some large bushes in my backyard and it did it with out a problem. Easy to use. Instructions call for a cool down period if you use it too long. I never needed to. Also used it to move some boulders in the front yard. Saved my back big time...

Not designed for continuous use

I purchased this winch for dragging some small tree tops. We used it for about a day until it started smoking and finally stopped working completely. There is a load limiter on the winch which is designed to shut it down when over-loaded. This limiter never engaged and the winch appeared to be functioning correctly for most of the day (or at least until smoke started pouring out of it). It appears that this model is not at all designed for any type of continuous work load.

No, I do not recommend this product.
