Warn 12V Electric Trailer Winch, 2000 lb. Line Pull Capacity

The supplied bolts are for a metal floor. If using on a wood floor you will need longer bolts to attach it. I got 2 1/2 inch bolts with locking nuts and washers. You will have to install the one bolt from underneath on a wood floor to secure it.

Once hooked up, the winch worked as expected. The battery connections are too small for my battery posts, and I have dual posts. I had to modify the connections. A photograph on the website shows the winch secured with chains. Upon further review, it appears to be attached to a metal plate. If I had realized that, I would not have purchased. I need to use it on a flat bed trailer. The supporting bolts provided are insufficient to mount to the flatbed decking. I am no mechanical engineer and am on a farm not close to a hardware store. Once again, I had to improvise. Since I modified it, I cannot return it. I had to use it that day. Lesson learned.

This is my 5th one of these. They last from 1 to 5 years. Worth having. Broke my hand with the boat wench so I switched to this electric wench. Easy to install, bolt on to my plate. Set up never changes. Just get another one.
