Vitamin K1 helps in the production of prothrombin, a protein that clots the blood, to counter bleeding caused by hypoprothrombinemia. VetOne Vitamin K1 is safe for cats as well as dogs weighing between 11 and 22 lb. Tablets are beef flavored and scored for easy dosing.How it Works

The body utilizes vitamin K1 to produce prothrombin, a protein that works to clot the blood.

Tips

This product can be administered to cats or dogs orally as a treat, or crumbled over the food. Be sure to monitor consumption.

  • Vitamin K1 helps in the production of prothrombin, a protein that clots the blood
  • Often administered after a pet accidentally ingests specific types of rodent pesticide
  • Counters the effects of hypoprothrombinemia caused by coumarin-based compound digestion, typical commercial rodenticide ingredients and other types of drug-related hypoprothrombinemia resulting from Vitamin K metabolism interference (such as salicylates)
  • Also used for follow-up treatment after Vitamin K-1 injections or hospitalization are completed
  • Safe for cats as well as dogs weighing between 11 and 22 lb.
  • Comes in chewable tablets, which are scored for flexible dosing
  • Beef flavored to appeal to most dogs
  • Give alone or crumble the tablet and add to pet's food
