We use pressure cooking rather than long boiling. Pressure cooking reaches the desired temperature and extraction much more quickly, which reduces the likelihood of lead leaching from the bones. While no bone based product can guarantee zero natural mineral content, our cooking method avoids the prolonged boiling conditions that increase this risk. We also strictly follow all applicable USDA and FDA guidelines for safety and quality throughout our sourcing and production processes.
