This paste contains flunixin meglumine, a non-steroidal, non-narcotic, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, and potent analgesic. It is far more powerful as an analgesic than codeine, meperidine, and pentazocine, working within two hours of feeding. It reaches its peak response 12 to 16 hours after administration, and it works for a 24 to 36 hour period.

Special Precautions

• Not for use in horses intended for food slaughter.
• There is no known detrimental effect on the spermatogenesis of stallions during or after administering flunixin meglumine at the recommended dosage.
• Studies have not been conducted to prove or disprove safe use during pregnancy.
• Keep out of reach of animals and children.
