Vetericyn VF (Veterinarian Formula) Plus Antimicrobial Wound & Skin Cleanser works to fight microorganisms by mimicking the body's neutrophils - specifically, the hypochlorous acid (HOCI) generated through the oxidative burst process of neutrophils works as a potent antimicrobial that only attacks single-cell pathogens. As a powerful oxidant, hypochlorous acid reacts through many pathways with biomolecules. The primary mode of attack against microorganisms is the disruption of the cellular membrane.

Directions

Move excess hair from wound area. Clip if necessary. Adjust spray nozzle. Apply Vetericyn VF (Veterinarian Formula) Plus Antimicrobial Wound & Skin Cleanser liberally on the wound to clean, treat infections and promote healing. If dressing is required, apply Vetericyn VF (Veterinarian Formula) Plus Antimicrobial Wound & Skin Cleanser liberally to dressing. Apply dressing to wound. Repeat as many times a day as necessary until wound is healed. No rinsing necessary. Skin may "pinken" after application due to increased blood flow to wound site which will help speed healing.
