- A: Hello Neighbor, It is typically recommended to remain under 650 degrees F to retain the pan's "seasoning", but cast iron can handle temperatures upwards of 1450 degrees F before structural damage occurs.a year agoHelpful?

- A: It can be used; however, if you drag it across the surface it can cause scratches in the glass. So it would need to be carefully lifted and set down when in use.
