- A: It can be used; however, if you drag it across the surface it can cause scratches in the glass. So it would need to be carefully lifted and set down when in use. In general you want to use light duty coated cast iron if using with a glass top stove The manufacturer has noted that this works with an induction stovetop2 years agoHelpful?
