I purchased this food to give exclusively to the 20 feral cats that come to me for food. The price and availability was a factor, because I was also purchasing flea medication for the same feral cats, at the same time. There's a few bone chips in the chicken flavor cans, that you might want to pick out, and I have found that to be common, in the 9 Lives brand. I also added a few drops of tap water to each can, and that helps the cats while they lick up the food. I try to give the feral cats a balance of wet and dry food, as much as I can.

I thought this food would be a good thing for my cats but I was soooo wrong. I have 2 feral kitties and one friendly one. They walk away from the bowl and refuse to eat it. There are 2 styles in the carton. One has meat pieces with gravy which is the one that just dried up in their bowl completely untouched and the other is a pate which after a couple of days decided it was better than nothing and did finally eat some of it. I had bought 2 cartons but returned the 2nd carton to the store. The remainder of the open carton I'll just feed to my chickens as they'll eat anything.
