"Women of a certain age"

I couldn't put off making this purchase any longer.
With all the rain we've had, my lawn was in
need of a little TLC. I am very pleased with this mower.
I took the time to read the manual, filled the oil
and gas and adjusted the handle (this is a must
do BEFORE trying to start!) and pulled the cord!
It started on the first pull!
While it doesn't have FWD, it was easy
enough for an "woman of a certain age" to
mow a smaller, hilly yard without any trouble.

Great mower for the money!

Bought 2 of these TB105 push mowers and got great service from them for 2 mowing seasons. Serviced both mowers, new air filters, spark plugs left the fuel tank full and stored them in the garage during winter months. Neither mower will crank. However, I feel that as much run time as they were used during the mowing season and low purchase price, these mowers are a great value.

It was always hard to pull/start and after a few months the pull cord came loose. I left it at rental property and it was thrown out before I had a chance to return/repair it. Total waste of time and money.

Poor Quality

I have had this mower for about 3 years, it won't run anymore, nothing but junk. It was great it's first year, started being a problem the second and now it won't do anything anymore.

Not worth the money

Don't waste your money on this item bought mine 14 months ago. Won't start now and the warranty service repairs charges 50 dollars to inspect. Also, told me in advance they will not cover the warranty. Never another Troy built for me
