It’s junk dont buy. We mowed maybe 15 minutes. The mower cut out. Took it right back.

I've had mine for a few years. Great mower. Simple, not much to break. Does what it is suppose to do. I would buy another.

If you have owned a rider mower before you will figure out this model. Everything is manually operated. The only complaint I have is having to move the key to reverse to keep mower deck operating before switching to reverse with the CVT. If you forget this step the engine shuts off. Gas tank could be larger and secured better.

I decided to go with a Troy Built and was the correct design designion. American made they say.

I have had my mower for 3 years now other then a dead battery ,there has been no issues with it. I would recommend it to anyone.

The battery is dead and no one has responded in the barstow office

Michigan user here. Love the mechanical dependability. Turning radius is large and cumbersome in small or confinef areas. Otherwise 👍👏

I purchased mower cause I had older Troy-bilt that I really liked. Spent right at 1800 for my first brand new mower. Brackets that are mounted on deck break first year, easy fix but need to buy 10 buy year 2. The metal on metal vibrations break brackets at bend. The pop can deck material it the toughest on the mower, that’s should tell you not to buy. 2nd year my belt breaks buy new one it breaks immediately. The stationary pulley bracket welds break. Troybilt said it was abused why they didn’t repair. The used old one lasted me 8 years. My first new one tried to take better care of wouldn’t wish one anybody. Save money buy old mower or grasshopper

Difficult to reverse

Zero star-0 Tractor Supply in Marysville Ohio sold me a brand new mower that sat out all winter delivered it doesn't work won't start leaks fuel and I bought it for my 67 year old dad and it was a big disappointment

Seems worth the money. It does mow level and usually handles higher grass with one pass

I've had several mowers in my life ranging from used to expensive. Never in my life have I had such a craptastic mower as this one. Arrived with a flat. At least 2 flat tires every single week. Cuts off at random, struggles to cut, and the deck is poorly installed. I absolutely hate this thing. I hate even more that i'm stuck with this absolute piece of crud and I'm extremely tempted to refuse further payments. The financing is the only way they move these lemons. I sincerely hope both tractor supply and troy bilt go bankrupt. Yall are just the worst.

The cranberry two pa 16066 is the most efficient, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Karen sold us the riding mower and has helped us with ordering extra parts recently. This woman is a great employee and a great sales person. She is personable, knowledgeable, approachable and courteous.

this is my first riding mower and I cannot be more than happy with it. mowers my 1 acre lot well. didn't need a zero turn for the size of my yard. this mowed it with a breeze and a lot quicker than my old push mower. highly recommend this mower

Had for less than a year and 2 stores don't sell the battery has been discontinued... So now what...

Price is half of other stores!

I ordered the Mower and it arrived in the Store on a Monday. I tried to set an appointment to pick it up on a Thursday. The Store said it would be ready for pick up and assembled. When I arrived it was not assembled. I then re -scheduled for Sunday and reserved a trailer. When I arrived Sunday the trailer was not avaliable. I then had to just cancel the order. very disappointing customer service

Searching for a riding lawn mower in November should be much easier. Tractor supply in Johnston RI was the only store to have one on hand. I quickly ordered it online , rented a truck, and headed to Johnson RI. The employees were nice and very helpful. They helped me push the troy bilt riding lawn mower into my truck. They explained that the troy bilt had a dead battery because it was sitting for so long and they don’t start them regularly. They didn’t have a jump pack and did not have another battery to give me so I left with the dead lawn mower. After getting Home, I replaced the battery and it was still dead. I found a blown 10A fuse under the battery compartment. I thought for sure this was the issue. So I replaced the fuse and the battery on the brand new machine , I tried to start it and it wouldn’t kick over. Maybe bad gas?! I emptied the gas tank and put fresh fuel in it. It was a little strange that the tank was filled up all the way (could this have been return?!) . At this point , I’ve spent $2000 on the troy bilt and $100 on the rental van. $100 new battery. $20 in fresh gas. It HAS to work?! Right? No. It’s a $2000 paper weight and I’m not looking forward to returning it because I’m going to have to rent another truck. I have zero interest in purchasing troy bilt in the future. What a waste of time and money.

A switch to turn off headlights would be nice.

I was in need of a new lawn tractor. My wife had heard the CEO of Tractor Supply speak at a conference and was impressed. We had never purchased anything from Tractor Supply before. Prices seemed competitive and same day delivery was available so we purchased this item. Upon delivery I noticed some left over gas in the tank. Before accepting I called the store, the employee told me it is typical the stores will test run all tractors before delivering. I specifically asked was it possible this was used or returned. The employee replied absolutely not. I accepted delivery, later that day I went to start and move the tractor. The tractor was grinding in both forward and reverse, further looking in the manual I found the name, date and other information of someone who purchased this tractor in Oct of last year. I again called the store explaining the situation and was told the manager will not be back until Monday, I can put a call out however you will just have to wait, this was on a Saturday I left my contact information with the employee. On Sunday I had not heard back and called to speak with the same employee, again being told nothing yet could be done. On Monday I called and spoke with the manager, the contact information I provided was left in correct so the manager did not know how to pursue any issues. Once I explained the situation and confirmed correct information the manager explained he would put a pick up request in but would not know when to expect pickup. Tuesday I called and spoke with the store against, the manager was not in, I requested a follow up call when he was on-site later that day and received nothing. Wednesday while I was at work I received a text from a random number stating tractor pick up in 20 minutes. I replied to the text that the tractor was in the driveway. The number called me a few minutes later asking if someone could drive the tractor into the trailer, I explained no the tractor is defective and no one notified me pick up was scheduled. The pick up person then asked how to roll the tractor and if anyone could help. My wife who was working from home saw the person struggling and stopped what she was doing to help while I explained to her how to roll the tractor. With pick up over around 11am I waited to hear from the store the rest of Wednesday and all day Thursday with no contact made. Thursday when I got home from work I called the store and spoke with the manager asking if the return had been processed. I was told they did not receive the tractor. I explained it was picked up yesterday, the manager then went to look and confirmed yea the did receive the tractor and then started the return process. Back at square one now needing a tractor, avoid purchasing anything from this company.

The Troy-Bilt is fine, but the condition of it was not. Many rusted parts, battery dead, chipped paint w/bent metal. Was not able to return it, but I feel that it could have been in better shape.

The seat is very short, front to back, small, even for my skinny butt. I slide forward and the mower tries to stall every time I stop with the clutch/break. Putting the mower in drive I’d difficult, also. You can’t speed up or slow down without stopping and getting into neutral.

Great mower at a good price

Tractor I purchased had very serious malfunction - discovered to be a fuel leak in the carburetor and possibly other areas of the engine. It was very difficult to start during demo and sputtered during the test run. I discovered that all the gas in the fuel tank would leak out. Defective model.

Drives well, mow's even, easy turning

The mower doesn't cut taller grass without being bogged down. Now that the grass is cut you can see every line and when you do turns it doesn't cut correctly, Very disappointed.

Troy-bilt made to be a work horse. Just the right size for my yard. 1st. time never had a riding mower before, should have bought it years ago.
