The Transfer Flow Inc. 82 gal. Refueling Tank System fits full-size pickups with short and long beds. It's Department of Transportation (DOT) legal to carry and transfer gasoline, diesel, methanol/ethanol, and kerosene. The 82 gal. fuel transfer tank system is powder-coated black for a durable satin finish and is baffled to prevent sloshing. The fuel storage tank system comes complete with a 12V GPI fuel pump, 12 ft. hose, nozzle, fuel cap, wiring harness with cab-mounted power switch, and mounting hardware.

- A: It comes complete with a non-locking fuel cap. A locking fuel cap is an optional item that you can purchase separately. Transfer Flow part #070-GC-34074, which can be Special Ordered through your local TSC Store.6 years agoHelpful?
Q: If I ordered one of these tanks can I have a drain plug added? I thought all tanks were required to have a drain?

Q: Can this product be used as portable gas tank, or does it have to be permanently mounted in the truck bed? Can a longer fuel hose be installed? Can it be wired to trailer plug for power?

- A: 1.) Fuel tanks are not ‘portable’ – especially one with 82-gallons. Gasoline is a flammable and volatile substance that must be handled appropriately. Fuel tank must be mounted to the truck bed – and all necessary and needed hardware is included with tank for proper mounting. 2.) Transfer Flow tanks are DOT approved for gasoline. The 12-ft. hose is what DOT allows and has approved. You can change the length of the hose – however, in doing so you will now be out of compliance and it will no longer be DOT approved. 3.) It cannot be wired to trailer plug for power. It will require its own power source.7 years agoHelpful?

- A: Transfer Flow does offer a Napa in-line fuel filter that can be added to the tank. This is not a part that is offered through Tractor Supply at this time, however, you can purchase the part directly from Transfer Flow - part# 0200113958.7 years agoHelpful?

- A: The tank with no fuel weighs about 235 pounds. After adding fuel to the tank it would add on 6.25 - 6.8 pounds per gallon.7 years agoHelpful?

The dimensions listed are incorrect, will not fit in a truck with a bed cover, I still think the tank is awesome, should have come with a locking fill cap, and a fuel gauge that I now have to purchase separately, easy to install and wire.
