Q: Is there a warranty on these nets? Mine has been hanging under a barn and the ‘hanging’ string has already broken. Totally out of animals reach. It’s less than three months old.

Q: How well do these hold up? How many times a month will I be replacing these?

1 Answer
  • A: Thank you for your inquiry. Honestly the life of the hay net really depends on the horse. We have had customers that have said these bags lasted them a few seasons and then we have had some that have said they only lasted a month, but that was "normal" for their horse due to it being more destructive.

Q: Would this be good to use for a 36"mini horse overnight in his stall?

1 Answer
  • A: We usually recommend a hay bag that has 1 1/2" openings for mini's to offer even slower intake, but if this net is hung at a proper height that does not allow the mini to be able to paw at the net there should be no problem. Thank you!

Don't use this product for goats.

I would not recommend using this product. My goat somehow got his head through the holes and just found him dead hanging strangled from this feeder.

Too small

Very small, these used to be a lot bigger. The rope is shorter than it used to be. The material is ok but there should be more of it. It doesn’t hold much hay since it is half the size of the other ones Ive gotten before. Poorly designed with too short of loop rope now, and I can’t speak to how strong or long lasting it is because I’m not going to be using it anymore.
