Q: What Bagger system do I need for this one (76614)? Also if the only major difference between 75316 and 76614 is the seat did they just take out the arm rests? Can i buy them and add?

1 Answer
  • A: Hi, Steve! Thanks for your question. There are a few differences between the two units. Most notably, unit #75316 is equipped with a 26 hp* Kohler 747 cc with Pro Air Cleaner, while unit #76614 is equipped with a Kohler KT745 26HP 747cc. Additionally, unit #76614 has a predominantly black and red color scheme and features the Reinforced Bull-Nose logo. The seat is also different; however, an optional armrest kit is sold separately for unit #76614. You will need part #161-4567. Thanks!

Choke cable/ poor customer service

The mower is as described runs, works as it should. The problem is customer service. The choke cable melted on the first hour of operation. I contacted customer support and was told that it was not a common problem, my Toro dealer and they said it is covered by warranty but pick up and delivery $70 each way. The dealer said that no recall was issued so the delivery charge is not covered. I asked to have a new cable sent to me and I'll replace , Toro denied my request. Really disappointing! Should have stuck with Scag

No, I do not recommend this product.

We’re sorry to hear about the issue with the choke cable and the frustration you experienced with service options. Warranty considerations for Toro products are handled through our Authorized Service Dealers, who are best equipped to inspect and resolve concerns. While pickup and delivery charges are set by individual dealers and not covered under warranty, the repair itself is covered. We encourage you to visit Toro.com/support to learn more about the warranty of your mower. Toro

Toro Mower good, support is horrible. We have had issues with bagger since day one and a month later gotten the run around from everyone at Toro not wanting to make things right at all.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Awesome/ BAD cable

Love this mower!! Like others have said the choke cable melted closed after the first use and had to loosen the connection to get it to function. Taking it in under warranty to have it repositioned so it doesn't melt again. If I had it to over again I would have taken it straight to the people who do the warranty work.

Yes, I recommend this product.

MyRide is wonderful. Mower is good too.

MyRide saved my back! I really like this mower. My 4 acre mow has some very flat areas where I want to go really fast and some really rough areas where I go slow. I used to get off the mower and be really sore, but now my back is just fine. I read enough reviews about the choke cable to just add a little high temp insulation on the cable, and have had no problems. Just one star off for a problem that I fixed: If you read the manual, the speed adjustment and the neutral adjustment use the same adjusting nut. If you adjust for no creep in neutral, the top speed is considerably below the 8.5 MPH specified. If you adjust for speed, the creep in neutral is way too high. The problem is that the notch in the metal frame under the plastic covers for the hand controls does not offer enough forward movement to the control arms. If you just mill off about 3 mm from the metal (it's easy) you can set the neutral for zero creep and still reach the 8.5MPH spec top speed. See photo for "after" photo. After milling, a little black spray paint is all I did.
