Q: Have geese will it hurt them
17 days ago2 Answers
- A: All rodenticide products can be harmful to waterfowl and other pets as stated on the label if they consume the bait directly. When putting bait out, I would recommend using a tamper resistant bait station that will protect the bait and keep it safe from other animals.16 days agoHelpful?
Q: Do I open the pac before placing it?
25 days ago1 Answer
- AI-generatedA: No, you do not need to open the individual pacs before placing them. Rodents can smell the bait through the packaging and will chew through the thin paper casing to reach the pellets themselves.24 days agoHelpful?
Q: Can this be returned?
6 months ago1 Answer
- A: Yes, Tomcat 3 oz. Rat and Mouse Place Packs can be returned to Tractor Supply Co. (TSC) within 30 days of purchase. You must provide proof of purchase, such as your receipt or order confirmation. Active Neighbor's Club members can have purchases linked to their account, allowing for paperless returns. The item generally must be in its original packaging and in unused, resalable condition. If any of the place packs have been opened or used, the return may be denied or only a partial refund may be granted.6 months agoHelpful?
Q: How often should I change out packets?
7 months ago1 Answer
- A: Hello, thank you for your question. Tomcat Place Packs should be checked regularly and replaced approximately every 7–14 days, or sooner if consumed or contaminated, to maintain effective rodent control.7 months agoHelpful?
Q: Does it kill them or just deter them? Is it safe for house pets?
9 months ago1 Answer
- A: This product contains diphacinone, a multiple-feed 1st generation anti-coagulant meant to kill mice and rats. All rodenticide products are harmful to dogs and other pets as stated on the label if they consume the bait directly. When putting bait out, I would recommend using a tamper resistant bait station that will protect the bait and keep it safe from other animals.9 months agoHelpful?
Q: Will the dead mouse smell in case it is unreachable?
9 months ago1 Answer
- A: There is nothing in the bait that will make the rodent smell any better or worse as they decompose. The smell will depend upon the weather outside and the time of year.9 months agoHelpful?
Q: Are these safe for small dogs
11 months ago1 Answer
- A: All rodenticide products are harmful to dogs and other pets as stated on the label if they consume the bait directly. When putting bait out, I would recommend using a tamper resistant bait station that will protect the bait and keep it safe from other animals.11 months agoHelpful?
Q: How should I dispose of old packs?
11 months ago1 Answer
- A: Dispose of wastes resulting from the use of this product in trash or at an approved waste disposal facility.11 months agoHelpful?
Q: Will I have to dispose of the rodents myself or will they go off and die somewhere else
2 years ago1 Answer
- A: Rodents will often return to their nests to die and deceased rodents are not usually found in the same location in which the bait was placed. Should any deceased rodents be found, they should be handled with gloves and disposed of humanely in accordance with the product label.2 years agoHelpful?
Q: What if a pet eats a dead rat?
2 years ago1 Answer
- A: Unfortunately there is little scientific data regarding potential secondary poisoning, and so we can't make any definitive conclusions. However this particular bait contains Diphacinone, which is a 1st generation, multiple feed anticoagulant bait. Generally the concerns about secondary poisoning have been surrounding second generation, single feed anticoagulants. There are a lot of variables that can contribute to secondary poisoning and we always recommend following label instructions with regards to placements and disposal of dead rodents since those are legally approved methods for applying rodent bait.2 years agoHelpful?

Knocking them down!!! I haven't seen a mouse in a while after I put it under the house and placed it in the corner inside of the house. I smelled a dead one by my laundry room, but now the scent is gone.
