Q: When do you change the bait?
3 months ago1 Answer
- A: For the Tomcat Mouse Killer Refillable Station, you should replace the bait whenever the block has been consumed, contaminated, or becomes moldy.3 months agoHelpful?
Q: Is this product also effective on rats?
3 years ago1 Answer
- A: The bait refills in this particular product will work on rats however the refillable bait station is only designed for mice. I would recommend the Tomcat Rat Killer Refillable Station so that both rats and mice can fit inside the station as all bait should be placed inside a bait station.3 years agoHelpful?
Q: How long does it take for it to kill them
5 years ago2 Answers
- A: I assume that almost immediately after they eat it they get thirsty. I never see dead ones so my guess is they leave to find water and never come back. The last batch of bait that I placed was never finished. That indicates to me that I have no rodents anymore.5 years agoHelpful?
Q: How fast does it work?
7 years ago1 Answer
- A: Rodents will typically consume a lethal dose in a single feeding and will die in 2 or more days.7 years agoHelpful?
Q: If my pet where to eat a rodent that ate this will it hurt my pet
7 years ago1 Answer
- A: Unfortunately there hasn't been definitive testing done to determine the risk of "secondary poisoning" (when a dog or cat eats a rodent that died from eating bait). There are many variables that can impact how a pet would react (type of animal - dog or cat, size/weight of the animal, quantity of other food eaten, etc.) The active ingredient in this product is Bromethalin, which does not require mice to eat a lot of bait in order to die. It kills faster than other other baits, so rodents will cease feeding after consuming a lethal dose. In fact, a 1 oz Block of this bait will kill up to 12 mice. Unless your pet is consuming a large quantity of dead mice as their primary food source, it's unlikely that you would see any adverse reactions.7 years agoHelpful?

didnt like it

I set up a trail camera and put a bait chunk in front of the camera. I watched a mouse feed on it every day for a week.
the problem is, I have no idea if it was the same mouse, or if I killed 7 mice.
what I found these are great for is, if you put one block out and it gets chewed, you know you have mice.
mice love these blocks. they are a great bait for other traps and a great indicator that you
have mice, but I can't tell if it works as a poison.
No, I do not recommend this product.
