Outstanding addition to the Farm

Purchased this mower in 2010. Mow aprox. 2 acres of a very steep hill side and unlevel ground around fences. Pull behind a John Deere Gator. No issue to tow and mowing ability is great. Sometimes mow grass / weeds that are very high and other than slowing slightly for a smooth cut the mower works great. This is the second season and have had "0" issues. Very easy to start and always preforms beyond what I could hope for. For the money it's a great value if you have a good option for towing. pLEASE TAKE TIME TO REVIEW THIS PRODUCT, you will not be sorry.

I bought this mower on 8/3/12. I didn't get to use the mower until 8/8/12.I used it about 35 to 40 minutes then the wheel and axle fell off. I returned mower to store and was refunded my money. Tractor supply was very helpful.This is a very cheaply made product. Don't waste your time or your money buying this product

A good deal

I wanted to wait to give my opinion of the this mower until I had used it for an entire season. I had a different brand of mower for the last 10 years until the motor finally gave out. I did some research and found these Swishers. After using it all summer I am very pleased with its performance. It never stalled during high patches (something my other one did) and it started very easily most of the time. My only complaint was the cheap plastic oil release they have to make it easy to change the oil. It broke the first time I changed the oil. I went and purchased a metal fitting to correct the problem. Another thing was my old mower had the on/off switch and the blade engage lever mounted on the hitch arm so it could be reached while sitting on the tractor. I did miss that about my old one. I own 13 acres and mow 7 of it. This mower left a very nice cut (better then my riding mower). Over all a very could purchase.

Best purchase ever!

I was in need of a mower that could handle both a very steep hill, slightly rough area, and a large area. The Trail mower was the right answer. I use it behind my John Deere Gator and have excellent results. The rear discharge makes any possible discharged debris very safe and the ability to mow over the uneven landscape has made my job a breeze. I was nervous to start that a product at this price may be cheaply build but was very surprised when I first viewed it to find heavy duty material used in all areas and the welds were of the highest quality as well. Starting is very effortless and starts every time with a single pull. I use for aprox. 2 hrs per mowing twice per month. I mow an area that is to steep for a tractor and bushhog and extremly to rough for a common Lawnmower. Thanks for providing this outstanding product and I look forward to many years of use.
