With the active ingredient, Dinotefuran, the Starbar QuikStrike Fly Bait Insecticide kills nuisance flies quickly and controls those resistant to carbamate and pyrethrin sprays and baits. The pour-on insecticide homogenous formulation contains Z-9 tricosene to attract flies and can be used daily where flies are a problem. Available in a 5 lb. package.

Q: I realize animals should not eat or lick the actual bait, but, if a dog or other animal...birds, for instance... should ingest the dead flies, is it harmful?
