Started working soon after I put them out

Within just a little while I saw fruit flies in the traps. If you need to refill the traps, mix 1/2 tsp of apple cider vinegar, 8 1/2 tsps of water & a few drops of dishwashing liquid.

Not very good

We usually use a small clear glass, stretch some saran over it and poke a few holes using a tooth pick. This works great with wine, wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar. However, we wanted something that looked nicer on the kitchen window ledge. These were pretty much ineffective.

Trapped

Better off with apple cider vinegar. The traps are useless. Put them in prime spots. Next day 2 or 3 were trapped. Pretty container.

We are sorry to hear this! Often a gnat, drain fly or other type of nuisance fly invasion is mistaken for a fruit fly invasion. As their name suggest, fruit flies are attracted to fruit - they're small, winged insects typically found around ripe produce in your kitchen, near garbage cans and open bottles of wine. If the flies aren’t attracted to the lure, you’re most likely not dealing with a fruit fly invasion. If you continue to be unhappy with your purchase, please feel free to contact the original retailer for assistance with a refund.
