Neighbor's fig tree is outside my bedroom window, and in October the figs are ripe. At 3AM the the tree hosts a party for Norwegian Rats (we're talking BIG rats!). I pruned those branches (that I could reach) from my roof and window area, but larger branhes had to remain, as did the top of fence posts in the intervening area. I needed something slippery, lasting, and repellant. [note that despite being rats, they maintain very clean fiur... by licking it.] I sprayed the bark of the upper (pruned) tree branches; and fence top edge with STA-BIL. They noisily 'partied' in the tree the night after treatment; but nights after that: ALL IS QUIET in the neighbors fig tree.

The little red straw is hokie and shot off into my engine. It took me an hour to get it out. I recommend skipping this product and just putting a couple ounces of motor oil in each cylinder.
