It's recommended for straight mineral oil lubrication and is best for compressors and hydraulic systems that require a non-detergent oil. Do not use this lubricant on automotive engines. I use this to lubricate my pnuematic pellet guns. Specifically the foam wipers that keep the piston seal and compression tube lubricated as well as the metal on metal parts like pumo arm hinges. Works great.
