Rated 5 out of 5 by from Part of my equipment plan, every time I have accumulated many pieces of lawn and garden equipment over the years. Lawn mowers, leaf blowers, hedge clippers, chain saws, edgers, etc. I used to add Sta-Bil at the end of the season but somehow I either forgot to add it, missed the amount or added it to bad fuel. As a result, every spring I had one or more issues - clean or replaced carbs, fuel tanks, and so on. I solved my problem with two things: I only buy pure gasoline - no ethanol - it’s available in most places and there is a smart phone app that can help you find a local station. Second, I add Sta-Bil to the fuel can (and oil for the 2atrokes) immediately after I buy it so I never have to guess the right amount in the tool and the gas is always good-to-go. Yes it’s more expensive this way but I only use about 20 gallons of gas a year so it’s an expense I gladly accept to have zero problems. I’ve done this for theee years now with 100% success. Spend a little money on the front end and you’ll thank yourself every time you pull the cord.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't know about the product..... but the 8 oz. bottle is extremely poorly designed for use on an auto/truck which makes it, basically, USELESS!! We bought the fuel stabilizer product to put in a 2015 Ford Escape that rarely gets driven. Before filling the tank from empty we attempted to use the product straight from the bottle. Being a 13 gallon tank we figured that it needed between 5 and 6 ounces of Sta-bil. While attempting to get the product from the measuring nozzle into the tank we found the nozzle to be way too short. It was a complete fight to get the bottle in the space where the gas filler mouth is on the Escape. A lot of the product went gushing within that space and down the outside of the vehicle all over the paint and Ming job! This is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE!! ...at least, without fair warning that a funnel should be employed. (Who keeps a funnel in a 3 year old vehicle?!?!?!?) We don't know if we got enough of the product into the gas tank or not. This is our very first attempt at using Sta-bil's gas stabilizer. Therefore, we can not speak to the product's attributes, etc. We can only address the MASSIVE problems with the design of the bottle that it comes in. We've seen the other complaints here about the very same thing. It seems that Gold Eagle doesn't care about these issues and doesn't plan on actually addressing them. It seems that they thing that simply refunding someone's money gets them off the hook. But, we can assure them that if anything at all goes wrong with the paint on a vehicle that is ONLY 3 years old that we WILL be contacting an attorney AND be registering formal complaints with the BBB, the FTC and any other applicable acronym. Golden Eagle, KEEP your money. You just might need it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 6 & 1/2 years in storage, it started like normal ! Testimony! This Chainsaw is 25 years old. 6 &1/2 years ago retired sawmilling and sold it and this saw has set on the floor of the garage for 6 1/2 years. Today I got it out just to clean all the gunk out of it and get it ready to take to the shop to get it running again because I figured after 6 & 1/2 years the gas had gone bad and the carb probably needed to be cleaned or rebuilt. After cleaning it up I pulled on the cord a couple times to cycle the piston to make sure it has not ceased up. 4 pulls and it STARTED! If you don't use STA-BIL in your seasonal equipment. You should. 6 AND A HALF YEARS !
