The SportDOG Brand WetlandHunter 425X is our smallest and lightest e-collar designed for the waterfowl-hunting environment, where space is a premium and durability is a requirement. Wrapped in Realtree Max-5 camouflage, this model looks outstanding, without standing out. Consistency and perfect timing are critical to developing your sporting dog, so the remote is quickly and easily operated without having to look at it - which lets you focus on your dog and not your equipment. with only a slight movement of the dial and the push of a button, you will be able to deliver a tone, vibration, or one of the 21 levels of static stimulation. Use these stimulation types to communicate with up to 3 dogs (with purchase of Add-A-Dog collars) out to 500 yards with any of the 425 models.

Great collar for versatile hunting dogs

This collar is a perfect tool for training and field work with versatile hunting dogs. Thanks to the durable and waterproof construction my Labrador and I haven’t found an element it can’t handle. I’m looking forward to a season packed with ducks, pheasant, and chukar with this collar keeping my dog and I in sync from the ponds to the peaks.

better options available elsewhere

While it’s a stylish e-collar i don’t believe the price reflects the quality. we’re currently training our gsd mix and texas blue heeler and we went with separate collars to be able to test which would work better. this collar does NOT offer a wide range of variety like others do. 3 levels of stimulation on 7 increments is NOT enough and 9/10 the increase of shock is too much whereas the other ecollar we have has 100 stimulation levels and was cheaper. super disappointed with sport dog and will not be purchasing going forward. the only pros for me are the camo color and the lanyard on the remote, other than that it feels like a waste considering there’s many other better options for ecollars that offer more variety.
No, I do not recommend this product.
