Had a problem with my old dog wandering off occasionally. I bought to keep her in when I am gone. She hasn't left the yard. It is equivalent quality to a invisible fence brand but you have to install yourself, or have your landscaper do it for a couple bucks. Took about 2 hours.

I purchased this system after buying a cheaper option elsewhere which didn’t have the capacity to run our five acre plot. This system came promptly with classy, professional looking packaging. It was easy to install and thought it took a little bit of learning to run collar and remote- they sent helpful, detailed, easy instructions. I absolutely love the battery life… my dog wore her collar every day, all day for a month before having to charge. Love the features the transmitter offers as the cheaper one I purchased previously didn’t have options on the transmitter. My dog is a golden retriever puppy so she has lots of fur but so far the short prongs have done fine and she hasn’t had any problems. I would 100% recommend. May cost a little more but I’d say it’s well worth it.

I live on a fairly busy paved road so when I got my lab puppy 5 years ago I was looking for an inexpensive way to keep him in the yard. Physical fencing was just out of my price range for a big enough area so I went with the contain and train system and it was the best decision I ever made. My lab would have cleared a physical fence so the in-ground electrical fence was the right choice. 5 years later I’ve moved the boundaries twice by just putting down new wire and added a second regular collar. It still works wonderfully keeping my now over 100lb lab and 75 pound pit mix in the yard.
