At home, in the yard, or out at the park, you're in control all the way out to 300 yards. The YT-300 offers premium features at a value price. It is not only compact, but also has features typically found on more expensive field models including: a long-life rechargeable battery, seven levels of static stimulation, easily accessible vibration and tone stimulation options, and DryTek technology allowing the system to be waterproof and submersible to 25 feet. We have had this for several years. At one point we lost the remote in the field for months. It was rained on and snowed on. Once it was finally found, it was still charged and worked perfectly! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a remote trainer.

The sound was very light and ould barely hear it. Vibrate worked but my stubborn German Shorthaired Pointer just looked at me. The shock does work because we tried it on ourselves first but our pup just kept on going. He just ran on laughing at us. Sadly returned. Not a good collar for our pup.

The audio beep and the vibration feature work well, however I have been unable to get the static stimulation to work on my golden retriever. We tightened the collar and installed the longer prongs because she has longer, thicker hair, but still no effect from the static. The beep and the vibration have been helpful, but we really wanted the static stimulation for use with property boundary control. Perhaps her hair is just too much of a barrier as the static shows it's working when using the tester.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Exactly what we needed

This has worked exceptionally well for my dog. She trained to it easily. We have only needed to use tone and vibration. Great tool.

I've had other collars that did not work at all.
Received this collar and used right away. The tone/vibrate worked best no need to shock (so glad) and when we put this collar on, he knows we are working! Highly recommend
My daughter got the 100 - we have huge fields around us, so the 300 is perfect.
