The 10" dual bevel sliding miter saw is powered by a 15-Amp motor that drives 4,800 RPM, delivering extended power and durability. This miter saw features a horizontal grip handle with a center located safety trigger for left- or right-handed use. The 9 detents on the stainless-steel miter plate and 11 miter locations allows for 50-degree cuts left or right, with 11 positive stop positions at commonly used angles. The tool comes equipped with a cam miter lock knob for repeatable accuracy, durability, and easy adjustments, while the tall sliding fences support 4 1/2" base molding vertically, and 6-1/4" crown molding vertically nested. The LED Shadow Line provides high precision cuts with greater accuracy than traditional lasers, while the lightweight design and built-in carrying handle provide convenience and portability. The quick work clamp quickly secures materials for safer cutting.

Good saw with a couple of negative points

It’s a great saw. Controls are accurate. The hold down bracket is not tight enough, and the sight light is not bright enough for exterior use

The saw is very accurate and is easy to use. Shadow line doesn't work well for me unless it's cloudy or saw is indoors but overly extremely pleased with the saw.

Stopped working after just a few weeks

I own several other Skil power tools and have always been pleased with their performance. Unfortunately this is not the case with this miter saw. Maybe I have a lemon, but after only a few weeks of use, it has stopped working. When pulling the trigger the blade does not get up to full speed, it stops in the middle of a cut, and when it has completed a cut, the blade does not immediately stop upon releasing the trigger and instead will continue to turn for sometime before slowly coming to a stop. I purchased this miter saw because of my previous positive experiences. My experience with this power tool has not been a positive one. For the cost of what I paid for it, I dont think I should be having to deal with it's warranty after only a few weeks of light use.

No, I do not recommend this product.

You get what you pay for

This saw will require the user to read the owners manual. It is cheap to buy and the quality reflects with cheaply made parts.
