Scotts Turf Builder Thick'R Lawn Bermudagrass contains turf grass varieties which are not resistant to endophytic fungus. Endophytic fungus can be found associated with many grasses and other plants, those associated with various turf grasses can cause health issues in many grazing animals including cows, sheep, and horses. We recommend you contact your county extension agent or local farm supply store for grass seed mixes appropriate for pasture areas.2 months agoHelpful?

Please note, our THICK'R LAWN products should be used for overseeding and should not be applied to bare ground. - A: Neither the seed, fertilizer or soil amendment themselves In Scotts Turf Builder Thick'R Lawn Bermudagrass Seed pose a health risk to grazing animals. However, Scotts grass seed mixes with varieties susceptible to endophytes should not be used in areas used for grazing livestock (horses, cows, goats, sheep etc.). Turf type fescues and perennial ryegrass will likely be infected with endophytes. We recommend that you contact their county extension service or local farm supply store for pasture friendly seed mixes.4 years agoHelpful?

Don’t waste your money.

I wish I would’ve realized that all the good reviews of this seed were part of the “sweepstakes.” Planted this several weeks ago. Watered like I always do, even got a lot of rain. Not a single seed has germinated. Bought 2 bags spread all of them. Waste of money.
No, I do not recommend this product.
