We're sorry to read about your disappointment with Scotts Turf Builder Thick'R Lawn Bermudagrass and appreciate your feedback.

You should start seeing germination in 7-14 days under ideal growing conditions, but will take about a month for all the seed to germinate. We recommend mowing the grass short and rake or de-thatch the area to remove dead grass and loosen exposed soil prior to applying. This Grass Seed will germinate best when temperatures are consistently in the 80-90 degree F range. Lawn seed should be watered daily or as needed to keep the soil moist for at least 3 weeks or until seedlings reach 2 inches in height. Germination time is based on ideal condition s of soil warmth and a constant amount of moisture.
