Q: How does this-item attach to a fence or possibly my grill? Will the squirrels be able to get it free and drag it all over the backyard? There are no trees on my property where I can set this up.

Great Squirrel Feeder!

Very pleased with this squirrel feeder - it's well built, ear corn goes on the spike easily, looks nice and the squirrels love eating corn from it. Also well priced so a great purchase!

Poorly made junk - do not buy.

Bought this so the kid’s could watch squirrels and birds. Installed in the afternoon, the next morning my five year old comes in and tells me “the tree has a pee pee”. Intrigued I go outside with her to have her show me. Sure enough, the tree looks well endowed. The bottom portion of the feeder has bent down and the corn cob is sticking straight out. Upon closer examination I see that only two flimsy “U” nails, very thin, are holding the bottom part on. Attempted to screw in from the sides to hold it up and the wood split like it was balsam. Took down the tip part, took the mail from the bottom part and drilled that through the middle of the too part and hung the board back up. To be fair, maybe this is intended for skinny city squirrels.
