I like the feeder. It holds alot if seeds. I do see it does not take much weight at all to bring down the squirrel cage. This limits birds eating to about 1. So not the beat design in respects to the cage. I may engineer a way to keep it in place seeing I don't have squirrels at the moment.

I recently purchased a metal rooster yard ornament for my son’s girlfriend’s birthday. She loved it! They raise chickens, and it fits in their home perfectly, and is quite a conversation piece! Very hard to clean and a potential bird trap

I bought this feeder about a year ago and the only good thing about is that it is indeed squirrel-proof. Unfortunately it's impossible to thoroughly clean. The bottom is not accessible and you can't remove it to clean it. The seeds just end up in the bottom in a cake like form. You can take most of the exterior apart but you can never get to the bottom. The WORST PART was that two chickadees found themselves trapped inside trying to get to the seeds at the bottom. Literally inside the feeder. Fortunately I was able to get them out safely. Probably my fault for not keeping the feeder full but still, that shouldn't happen. After this second time I've taken it down and I'm looking for a new one.
