I love shopping at tractor supply

My birds love love love these sunflower seeds ! And so do my squirrels. Lol. The big bag is handy so I don’t have to run back to tractor supply and every time I purchase big bags of anything dog food bird seed deer feed. I always get help loading these bags. The gang at tractor supply take great care of me I love shopping there

Something has changed...

The last few 40 lb. bags I've purchased has had way too much trash (chaff, old seeds) in it. I constantly have to clean it out of my feeders. The new bag I opened today is the same way.

This used to be an excellent bird seed

This used to be 5 stars, but the last 8 bags I’ve purchased have had excessive sticks, twigs, flower parts, etc, to the point that it takes me 20 minutes to fill 3 feeders when it used to take 5. I buy 80lbs every 6-8 weeks and since the end of 2025 each bag has gotten worse. When I pour the bags into storage buckets, what comes out is black and white! It used to be black. I would venture the most recent bag is 5-8% LARGE sticks, stems, etc. I have to sort through the seed before I put it in the tube feeders, or the tubes get jammed. This is 2/3rds of what pulled out today, while filling 2 small and 1 medium feeder. And even after sifting yesterday, one of the small feeders jammed. Something has changed with the cleaning and packaging of this product . I hope Royal Wing figures out the issue.
