Thank you Royal oak!

I've been waiting four years for charcoal pellets. It was then that I began making calls to manufacturers such as Pit Boss and Kingsford expressing my interest. Pit Boss did step up to the plate with a charcoal blend which was an improvement for those of us who like to cook on charcoal with the convenience of the set it and forget it style of pellet cooking. However I was hopeful that someone would eventually develop a way to pelletize something close to a 100% charcoal pellet. Needless to say I was happy to see that someone finally did it. Congratulations Royal oak. I've tried them and I'm very happy with them. Thank you!

They jam my pellet grill

I've used these pellets twice. The first time pure, the second time mixed with other pellets. Both times the auger of my Traeger grill got jammed. These pellets are very hard what is probably causing them to get stuck in the auger. As long as they don't get stuck, they burn very hot, but I won't use them again.

Super product

These are the best pellets I have ever found, and now I can't get them locally, which really sucks. I tried to use the hickory/charcoal blend, but it got punky and plugged my pellet hopper. I will not use those again. So, now I'm stuck getting the straight charcoal shipped to me.

Burns well and has a nice flavor!

So far these have been great! They heat up quickly, burn well and keep consistent heat in my Recteq. They also leave a nice subtle charcoal flavor.
