For any humid climates, looking into a de-humidifer rod can help control the humidity and moisture levels in the safe which will prevent mold and rusting. There will be an external power cord that will need to be plugged into the back of the safe and the other end to a wall outlet. There is no hole on the back of the safe to run a power cord through as there is no need to do that with this safe as it already has outlets on the inside. The weight, quality and construction of this safe are top notch. Lighting kit included and installed. Set up was easy. Glad I spent extra money to get this safe. Comes with a great warranty. Wish I would've had room for the larger one. If you purchase I don't think you won't be disappointed.
Furthermore, the team at TS were very helpful in the purchase and loading of the safe. The manager Mitch at Franklin, VA store was very helpful in this purchase.
