Q: How do you replace the battery in this light? Mine are new and don't work at all. Was going to change the battery but can't figure out where the battery is.

- A: To replace the battery in the solar lantern, please follow below steps: 1. Remove the bulb: Gently push the bulb upward from inside the mesh cage to detach it from the lampshade. 2. Access the battery compartment: Turn the solar panel housing (the black top unit) upside down. You will see three screws on the back. 3. Open the compartment: Unscrew these three screws to open the battery cover. 4. Replace the battery: Install 1pc of AAA Ni-MH (600mAh, 1.2V) rechargeable battery to replace the old one. Please ensure you use a rechargeable Ni-MH battery rather than a standard alkaline battery, as the solar panel is designed to charge rechargeable batteries only. After replacing the battery and reassembling the unit, turn the switch to “ON” position and place the solar lantern in direct sunlight for at least 10 hours to ensure proper charging before using.3 months agoHelpful?
