I wanted to love this product but..... sadly I couldn't get my mare to eat it , do to it being a powder. It just fell to the bottom of her feeding pan or she would just eat the grain off of the top and ignore it . Even when I mixed it with a small amount of Omega oils , she just wouldn't touch it . This is very sad because I truly think this product would have helped her . I am hoping Ramard will make this a pellet someday . I do think this product is of a higher quality and is a excellent choice if your horse will eat a powder supplement .

The horse I use this product on has issues on his fronts, he has a broken back pastern axis which is controlled by a good trim taking the toe back, he also knuckles forward if he's set up too high, so his trim has to be just right for him to stay balanced. Even with a balanced trim he would very often trip every 10-15mins. I had him on hyalone hyaluronic acid for 2yrs Dr De Paolo's product, I just never really new if that product was doing much, his hocks would click sometimes and he would resist letting me pick up his hind feet. But never any lameness or soreness. I started him on HA Grand first and he didn't like the taste much, but the ingredients in this product are awesome, I instantly seen great results with the HA Grand, this product is for joints but also geared towards soft tissue, tendons, ligaments, cartilage. In spite of him not gulping it down in a flash I kept him on it because in 1hr instead of tripping 4+ times it was down to 1-2 trips which was significant improvement. I literally saw results within a few days of using it, which blew my mind because I always thought it took 6wks to get into their system. With a little more research I found Total joint care, wow, this horse went from 1-2 trips per hour to no tripping at all on most days, now maybe once a wk he will trip 1 time. Before we figured out this horses trim cycle he literally would fall down. I loved the results of the HA Grand so I alternate between the Total Joint Care & The HA Grand daily, this horse now falls into the category of every other horse, he trips here and there. It's been a process trying to figure out the best supplements for him, but hands down I recommend these 2 products. Also no more resisting on his hind legs when picking his feet & the clicking has gone. I always thought a liquid HA was better than a powder but I don't believe that is true anymore, not with this horse in any case. The Total Joint Care is geared towards joints more than the HA Grand.It contains all the joint care ingredients in high doses, it has everything you need. It does contain MSM which makes some horses crazy, but fortunately that hasn't been the case with this guy. I believe this horse also had a lack of synovial fluid around his joints and these products rectified the problem. Definitely give these 2 product s a try if you're looking for an all round joint supplement combined with soft tissue supplement. If your horse is prone to tendon or ligament issues this product contain collagen tho help strengthen the fibers. The Total Joint Care is a little pricey, but I've paid a little less for a product that didn't have any benefits after 2yrs so..

this product has reduced having to get my horses joints injected. I was having to get him injected 1 to 2 times per year. Now it is once every 2 years! nothing better on the market
