I've been feeding SMALL amounts of corn to the deer who visit my yurt in the woods for a while now, always being careful to keep the fawns away from it until they grew and could eventually develop the gut biome to metabolize it. This year there are just too many fawns, so I looked for a food that I could just put out and walk away from with no worries. Purina is usually a good brand, and I liked the ingredients, so I chose this feed. The deer definitely didn't like it as much as the corn at first, but they like it now. I saw one licking the plastic tray after it had eaten it all. :) So they're happy, and I'm happy to have them around with no worries. Win/win!
