This pole saw has been great so far. I live on several acres and have many large trees. I bought the ProRun pole saw and two extension poles. The total length is close to 12 feet. The saw and its extensions are very well made and solid when connected. With all extensions the unit is fairly heavy, but much easier and safer to use than climbing on ladders. The saw has started easily and idles well without turning the chain. That is important for these types of tools. I did add an extra handle i had from another trimmer to one of the extensions to be able to spread my arms farther to make handling it easier at full length. It cut quick and strong. Now i have tons of branches to clean up and burn, but the trees look great!

This pole saw was a bit tricky to start the first time, but a quick call to their help line solved the issue. They explained that following the priming instructions too closely can actually flood the engine. I was advised to hold both triggers and keep pulling the start cord repeatedly to clear the flood — and it started right up. I’ve only used it a few times so far, but it’s cut well and performed as expected.
