Nice Coop, however.....

It's a really nice coop and i would buy it again if I had to do it over. There is a lot of work that you will need to put into it however, to predator proof the coop. Running hardware clothe around the whole coop because there are too many wide gaps in the run fencing,. Also, you will have to waterproof the wood with a sealant and then caulk the wide cracks in the coop to keep the rain out. We have had some heavy down pours with high winds this spring and it still leaked after sealing it through out. I bought a clear shower curtain to put over the east side door (where the leaks kept occurring) and the rain still go through. I put the cover over the roof but haven't had a rain yet to check it. Over all i am pleased with it, but it's my first time raising chickens and didn't know what to expect. I would buy it again if i couldn't get one built. Just be ready to customize it
